RESERVATION POLICIES:

In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible. You may be required to provide credit card information at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Certificates may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policy and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service.  Details of our cancellation policy are provided below.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa's scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. 

Any cancellations of a single service with less than 24 hours of notice, or clients who do not show up for a scheduled service are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount of the scheduled service.  We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. 

When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment. 

 

CHECK-IN:

We ask that you please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. New clients will be asked to fill out new client paperwork. If we are able, we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests.  Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly.

 

FACILITIES:

Children are only permitted in the spa area if they are receiving a service. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children, and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests. YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

 

RETURN POLICY:

In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 7 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately, we are also unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates within 7 days of purchase even if lost, misplaced or stolen. 

 

GIFt certificates + Series:

Gift certificates can be split and used on different days if you desire.  They cannot be redeemed as cash. Please mention gift certificate and have the number available when making your appointment. 

All series purchased may be shared or gifted to others and will not expire.

ANY MASSAGE, PACKAGE or DOLLAR AMOUNT GIFT CERTIFICATE or MASSAGE SERIES PURCHASED AT BEAUTY LANE SPA BEFORE JUNE 3, 2018 WILL BE HONORED AT SPA FACE + BODY.

what time should i arrive for my spa services?

We ask that you arrive at The Spa at least 10 minutes prior to the start time of your first scheduled service.

 

What should I wear to the spa?

At SPA Face + Body, your comfort is our priority! We recommend wearing loose fitting, comfortable clothes or just wearing what you feel the most relaxed in. You will be asked to remove all jewelry, therefore we strongly recommend leaving all jewelry at home.

 

Will I have to get completely undressed for my service?

This is completely up to you. Most people choose to undress completely, and some choose to leave on their underwear. Prior to your massage or facial, your therapist will exit the room for you to get completely comfortable. During a massage treatment, we use a draping technique in which the therapist will use the sheet to cover the entire body except for the body part being worked on. During your facial, you’ll be wearing a wrap under the sheet that allows your neck, arms and décolleté to be exposed for treatments. 

 

Can I ask my therapist to make adjustments?

Absolutely. This is your treatment. We specialize in customized treatments that are based on each individual client needs. All aspects of our services can be customized, so please let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort or would like special attention on a particular area. Also, feel free to ask questions. The best experience always comes from honest, open communication with your therapist.

 

are there any age restrictions?

Guests under the age of 16 may receive treatments if a parent or legal guardian accompanies them into the treatment room and signs the intake/consent form.  Guests 16-17 may receive treatments without a parent or legal guardian present, but he guardian must sign the intake/consent form.  Guests 18 years and over may receive all treatments.

 

What should I know about health concerns?

If you have any health concerns, please consult your physician before visiting any spa.

Pregnancy:   To receive a prenatal massage, you must be at least 13 weeks pregnant.  You may want to avoid treatments involving heat. Please inform our spa agents about the stage of your pregnancy upon scheduling your appointments.

 

is there anything else i should be aware of before my appointment?

It is recommended that you refrain from consuming alcohol at least eight hours prior to your Spa treatment. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Spa.
